Freedom & Choice

One of the greatest things about freedom is choice.  Choice gives us power because it recognizes our inherent nature as sovereign beings.  Choice invites, it never tells.  No “should haves” or “must dos” when it comes to freedom of choice.  Choice gives us the option to wholeheartedly engage or completely opt out – it is in the recognition of these opposites that makes our choices powerful and free.

We might not be able to choose, and certainly not control, what is offered to us from the world, but we can certainly choose how to view, respond, interpret or ingest it.  It can be an opportunity rather than a challenge.  Perhaps it is a lesson rather than failure.  Maybe they are a teachers instead of enemies.  We always have a choice.
